LiNC Fiction is an interactive story service where you talk with characters and shape the story yourself.
Instead of reading a fixed plot, what you say and choose changes how characters respond and how the story unfolds.
Two modes are available: Scenario Mode, where you work toward an ending, and Character Chat Mode, where you talk freely with a character.
Playing uses GEM. You can also watch ads and play without spending GEM. (See "Pricing")
Requirements
Available on LiNC app version 5.9.0 or later. (Update on App Store / Google Play)
You can also play at ai.linc.fan/fiction without installing the app.
Anyone can play after signing in with a LiNC account.
LiNC Fiction is not available on app versions earlier than 5.9.0. Please update to the latest version.
You can play LiNC Fiction by spending GEM or by watching ads. Choose whichever you prefer.
GEM is used each time you take a turn.

Play without spending GEM.
An ad appears once every set number of turns.
Once you finish watching the ad, you can continue playing.
You can switch between GEM Mode and Ad Mode at any time.

For web browser users
Only GEM Mode is available in a web browser. To play in Ad Mode without spending GEM, please install the LiNC app.
GEM can be purchased only in the LiNC mobile app.

Scenario Mode and Character Chat Mode have separate entry points.

Open the LiNC app and sign in.
Tap the [Fiction] tab at the bottom, or go to the LiNC Fiction section on the home screen.
Choose the mode you want.
Scenario Mode — select a story from the story list.
Character Chat Mode — select a character to talk with from the character list.
Check the synopsis and characters (or the character introduction) on the detail screen.
Tap [Start] to begin the story or the conversation.
Use the top-right corner of the play screen to choose GEM Mode or Ad Mode.
If you tap [Start] while signed out, a sign-in prompt appears. You can continue playing after signing in.
You can play at ai.linc.fan/fiction without installing the app. Sign in with the same LiNC account to pick up where you left off in the app.
Only GEM Mode is available on the web.
Ad Mode and GEM purchases are available in the LiNC app.

Stories progress in one of two ways, depending on the title. Both may appear within the same story.

Endings
Each story has multiple endings, and the number varies by title.
Which ending you reach depends on what you say and what you choose.
Every ending brings the story to a complete close.
Length and play time vary by story. Please check the synopsis and characters on the story detail screen first.

Q. Is LiNC Fiction paid?
You can play LiNC Fiction by spending GEM or by watching ads. In Ad Mode, you can play without spending GEM.
Q. How much GEM does it use? Scenario Mode uses 2 GEM per turn, and Character Chat Mode uses 1 GEM per turn.
Q. Can I play without GEM? Yes. In Ad Mode you can play without spending GEM. An ad appears once every set number of turns, and you can continue playing after watching it.
Q. Can I switch modes while playing? Yes. Use the button in the top-right corner of the play screen to switch between GEM Mode and Ad Mode at any time.
Q. Where can I buy GEM? GEM can be purchased only in the LiNC mobile app. Purchasing on the web is coming soon.
Q. Is Ad Mode available on the web? No. Only GEM Mode is available in a web browser. To use Ad Mode, please install the LiNC app.
Q. I can't find LiNC Fiction in the app. LiNC Fiction is available on app version 5.9.0 or later. Please update to the latest version on the App Store or Google Play.
Q. Can I resume if I leave in the middle of playing? Yes. When you return to the story, you can continue from where you left off.
Q. Can I replay the same story? Yes. In Scenario Mode, different conversations and choices can lead you to a different ending.
Q. Does Character Chat Mode have endings? No. Character Chat Mode lets you talk freely with a character without any endings. You can keep the conversation going as long as you like.
Q. Can I play on the web without the app? Yes, at ai.linc.fan/fiction. In the app, the [Fiction] tab at the bottom takes you there directly.
Q. Do all stories support all languages? No. Supported languages vary by story.
Character dialogue is generated by AI. It does not represent statements by real people and may contain inaccurate information.
Characters may avoid questions they cannot answer or move the conversation elsewhere.
GEM that has been spent is non-refundable. Please check the mode and its GEM usage before playing.
Ads may not appear depending on your network conditions or ad availability.
Access may be restricted if you violate our service policies. Defamation, obscenity, impersonation, advertising, and content that infringes the rights of others are subject to action.
Stories may be added, revised, or removed depending on operational circumstances.
GEM usage rates and ad display policies are subject to change depending on operational circumstances.
