Fan Story is a paid messaging feature that lets you send text and images directly to your favorite artist. Unlike regular chat, you can deliver a personal message just for the artist — and when they open it, you'll receive a read notification.
Requirements
LiNC app version 5.0.0 or later
Available to any fan who has joined the artist's private chat room
Location: Tap the Fan Story icon to the left of the message input at the bottom of the artist's chat room.
Enter the artist's private chat room.
Tap the Fan Story icon to the left of the message input.
Write your message, or attach images from Decorate.
Tap [Send Fan Story] and you're done!
You can attach multiple images (up to 40MB per file).
Use stickers, images, and text to decorate your message.
Only one Fan Story can be sent at a time.
Sending one Fan Story costs 40 GEM.
If you don't have enough GEM, recharge from [More → GEM Recharge] in the app.
Please check your GEM balance before sending.
Once sent, Fan Stories cannot be refunded. Please review your message before sending.
GEM refunds are also not available for Fan Stories removed due to policy violations.
You'll receive a read notification when the artist opens your Fan Story.
When the artist opens your Fan Story, you'll see the message "The artist has opened your Fan Story."
You can check this in the chat room or via push notification.
The artist's profile image appears as a read indicator on Fan Stories they've opened.
Artists don't reply through this feature. Use the read notification as a sign that your heart has reached them!
You can review your sent Fan Stories in the Archive.

Inappropriate content (profanity, hate speech, copyrighted images, etc.) may be subject to penalties under our operating policy.
Offensive or unsuitable images (nudity, violence, sexual content, etc.) may be blocked from sending.
The artist may view all received Fan Stories, but has no obligation to reply.
