The tin community is a space built together by people who love K-pop. To ensure everyone from diverse backgrounds can enjoy tin while respecting one another, please follow our Community Guidelines. These guidelines apply to all tin users and content.
For a safe community, your reports on content that violates our Community Guidelines are essential. If you find content that violates the guidelines, please use the "Report" feature in the More menu of the content. Once a violation is confirmed, we will take measures such as removing the content or deactivating the account that uploaded it.
tin supports our members in managing and protecting their own copyrighted works. When a report of suspected copyright infringement is received for content on tin, it is tin's policy to take action accordingly.
You also may not share methods that enable illegal downloading of other people's content, such as the addresses of piracy sites.
You may not flood the feed by repeatedly posting or commenting, or approach users for commercial purposes. This includes promotional or commercial content, automatically generated content, repetitive content users do not want, and content that appears to solicit purchases.
tin does not allow content involving excessive exposure, nudity, or sexual acts, or content that explicitly depicts sexual acts. You also may not post a person's private sexual images without their consent.
You may not post hateful expressions or content. Hateful content includes content that promotes or expresses hatred toward an individual or group based on race or ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that may be the basis of systemic discrimination or marginalization.
You may not harass, threaten, or intimidate other users. No one may single out a specific user for harassment, or threaten to cause harm. This also includes sexualizing someone in a way they do not want, exposing personal information that could be used to threaten them, encouraging others to engage in such behavior, or harassing others by any other means.
You may not post violent or cruel content involving real people or animals with shocking, sensational, or unnecessary intent. This includes overly graphic content such as close-up images of bodily mutilation or mutilated bodies, and content depicting excessive amounts of blood. You also may not encourage others to commit specific acts of violence.
You may not impersonate individuals or organizations, or misrepresent yourself. The use of pseudonyms is allowed, but content that may mislead users about your identity is not allowed. This includes impersonating individuals or organizations you do not represent, or providing misleading information about a user/service's identity, qualifications, ownership, purpose, products, services, or business. This also includes content or accounts that falsely state or conceal their ownership or primary purpose.
You may not store or distribute another person's personal or confidential information without authorization. This includes sensitive information such as national ID numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, images of signatures, and personal health documents. Information that can be widely found on the internet or in public records is not subject to action.
You may not use the tin service for phishing. This includes requesting or collecting sensitive information such as passwords, financial information, or national ID numbers.
You may not sell, advertise, or encourage the use of regulated goods and services. Regulated goods and services include alcohol, gambling, pharmaceuticals, unauthorized supplements, tobacco products, explosives, weapons, and health/medical devices.
Known non-state violent organizations and groups may not use the tin service for any purpose. You may not distribute content that promotes or publicizes the activities of such organizations, including recruitment, coordination of online/offline activities, sharing of harmful instructions or other materials, promotion of the ideology of non-state violent organizations, encouragement of acts of terrorism, incitement of violence, or advocacy of attacks by non-state violent organizations. Depending on the content, tin may also take action against the user.
You may not post or store images of minors without the explicit consent of the child's parent, guardian, or legal representative. If someone has posted or stored images of minors without consent, please report it to tin.
If tin determines that the Community Guidelines have been violated, we will take one or more of the following actions depending on the severity of the violation:
Remove the content (posts, comments, etc.) that violated the guidelines.
Delete the author's tin account and feed.
Report the user to law enforcement.
In cases of serious violation, tin may take action without prior notice to the user in order to protect the safety of the community. If your tin activity has been suspended, you may not create alternative accounts for similar activities. If you create multiple accounts associated with behavior that violates the Community Guidelines, tin may take the actions mentioned above. Unless otherwise specified, all actions are permanent.
Users may report suspected violations of the Community Guidelines using the "Report" feature in the More menu of posts and comments.
Reported content is not automatically deleted. tin reviews the reported content to determine whether the Community Guidelines have been violated, and then takes action. No separate action is taken against content or users that do not violate the guidelines.
